Q: Why don't you send me an invitation more frequently?
A: Research Reward is part of other panels -- so you actually may be receiving our invitations, but from one of our sister companies. However, Research Reward is very unique. We pay a large amount of money for qualified persons who meet some very strict requirements for product ownership and usage. For example, if you have purchased a new 4-door refrigerator and live in a certain region of the country, we will pay you from $75 to $200 for about 1 hour to 2 hours of your opinions. And we will do this face to face with you in our offices, in a hotel, or sometimes in your home. Q: Why do you need to ask personal questions?

We pay YOU for your opinions. Research Reward supports your rights as a consumer and as being one of our members by limiting the use of its information for only research purposes. Research Reward is active in the MRA and AMA which are professional organizations created to uphold ethical survey research.
Q: How long are the surveys?
The number of surveys that you will participate in over a year’s time will fluctuate, as our profession is very cyclical. Sometimes you may complete 5-10 surveys over an eight-week time frame and other times you may only complete 2 or 3. The length of the survey can vary depending on our clients’ needs as well as your answers. On average, the length of the survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Of course, some surveys will be shorter and others longer. Whatever the length, you will be compensated for your time.
Please note that at times we may invite you to our offices or to a hotel for a survey. These surveys may last about two hours and you may have discussions with a moderator about the research products that we are investigating. Of course, you will be rewarded with a cash incentive upon the completion of the survey for which you qualify and complete.
Q: What do I do if my registration information changes or I no longer want to belong to the Research Reward panel?
A: All changes and cancellations to the panel can be relayed to us via email postmaster@ResearchReward.com

Q: Why would I come to your office and why can’t I do this from my computer?
A: The Research Reward panel is unique in the web world – we not only take your opinion on the Web, but we also may need to actually talk with you on the phone or in our offices. Sometimes we have things that simply cannot be seen or tasted using the Web – we sometimes have prototype products that only one or two of these items exist in the world and we may ask you to come to our office to evaluate the product. Other times such as food products will be tested and we need to have you come to a controlled environment to taste a product that has been specially prepared by our clients’ chefs.
At times, we may need to telephone you to discuss your opinion. We have found that certain types of questions cannot be answered by yourself – we need to have professional interviewers work through your answers to get the best possible answers to give to our clients who make the decisions about these new products. (What do you LIKE about this new product? What do you mean by the TASTE? And what did you mean about the APPEARANCE of it? Etc.
And other times, you may have the opportunity to join a focus group discussion to really give your opinion for 90 minutes to 2 hours with 10 or so other persons just like yourself. Imagine sitting in a round table discussion that is led by a professional moderator. These discussions are videotaped and often wind up in the Board Room of major Corporations where YOUR opinion is actually heard by the people who make decisions about new products and new services!!
Of course, if you are invited to come to our offices, you will receive money as a thank you for your opinions (the amount depends on the length of time you are in our office, the subject matter and how few people own a particular product.)

Q: What happens after I join?
A: We will send you an e-mail welcoming you to the panel. After that, we'll contact you periodically by e-mail to ask you to take part in a survey. The e-mail will contain all the information you need to participate, including the URL web-site to visit to take the survey.
Q: Do I have to pay anything to join?
A: No, membership is free. And please remember -- We will never ask you for money, or try to sell you anything. We are only interested in your opinions. And then, we will PAY YOU for your opinions!!
Q: How much time will this take?
As a panel member, you will usually participate in several surveys a year – sometimes there may be more surveys and other times, there may be few surveys.
Often, you may be asked 4 or 5 questions to determine if you are the person who we want to survey – this is not a survey, but rather a “screening questionnaire” that will ask you about product usage and some classification information. Many times, we are looking for certain kinds of persons who our clients know buy their products.
Once you start the survey, the average survey will take 10 minutes or so to complete, and the questions are usually easy to answer.
Regardless of your completion of the screening questions or the actual interview, you WILL be entered into the drawing – however, those who complete the screening questions will have a lower chance in the drawing and those who complete a 10 minute interview will have 10 times the chance to win while those who complete a longer interview (say 15 minutes) will have a 15 times chance to win.
Q: How can I change my registration information?
A: If you change your e-mail address, please send us the new address so you can hear about upcoming surveys and remain eligible for prizes and rewards. We will verify your new address and ask for any updated household information.
If any of your personal details, such as your address, have changed, please e-mail us with a note of the changes.
If you wish to leave the panel and not participate in market research surveys, contact us.
Q: What happens to the responses I give in surveys?
A: Research Reward only collects survey data that will assist marketers and government agencies in their decision-making. We only collect information that we need to make surveys meaningful to our clients. We will never sell or release your personal data. The results of our surveys are reported in aggregate.
